Bob McFall – Photography

Inspired by a family life full of art and adventure, Bob studied and practiced diverse art medias and graphic design, additionally pursuing ornamental horticulture, landscape design and environmental studies in college.  Many of his earlier years were spent at the Los Angeles County Arboretum – exploring its “jungles” and absorbing into the fantastic plant life.  This was Bob’s motivation to graduate from his trusted Brownie camera and acquire his first 35mm SLR to seriously photograph and document plants, landscapes and nature that were now such a major part of his life.

Over the years, Bob developed a passion for capturing images of life, nature and the world we live in (hence “LifeScapes” photography), blending his art background with the media of photography. Bob’s photo style is “through the lens,” relying largely on timing and available light for capturing the drama of the moment.  While Bob continues to be inspired by the grandeur of nature and details of our landscape, he is equally enthused documenting the people and events that make up our daily lives, always seeking to capture an unrehearsed glimpse of the genuine person.
