OVA Arts welcomes Mary Neville to the gallery.

An emerging artist, Mary Neville is a contemporary abstract painter. She emphasizes mood and feeling through her use of color, line and composition. It is her goal for people to feel immersed in the work, the paintings acting as portals for personal reflection.

OVA Arts will have live music with Smitty & Julija, a variety of wines and hors d'oeuvres.

Smitty and Julija are Ojai, California-based artists known worldwide for their beautiful soothing sound, featuring paired vocal harmonies and sensual interpretations of both their original music and songs from their favorite singer/songwriters. They are renown for their tribute concerts to the music of Leonard Cohen.

Inspired by tall grass prairies to mountainous and oceanic landscapes, Marie McKenzie explores unifying patterns of land and sea.  Paintings begin with highlights from her travels, intuitively softening into abstraction as she welcomes visions of an undiscovered world.

Francie is a part of a "Plein air painting" group where they meet once a week to paint locally and when she can on the Central Coast.  Her philosophy - Everyone should have at least one piece of fine art in their home.  Visit us to find your art piece.

REBECCA DAVIS
Rebecca Davis weaves gorgeous  hand dyed pine needle baskets. She was inspired to learn to make baskets after seeing a small intricate basket made from porcupine quills.  She is a very skilled maker, showing a wonderful selection of colors in her work.

NEAL R. CROSBIE
Painter, cartoonist, poet, and musician.  His icon, coyote man, drawn from his Shoshone background turns up everywhere in his works.  He is in the landscapes and makes fun of himself or the whole universe. Unique among his contemporaries, Neal acts on canvas, paper or walls as a stand up comedian.  Come and enjoy his works at OVA Gallery.

RAE TANEY
Rae Taney is a metalsmith jeweler who has been traveling the U.S. for the last few years getting inspiration wherever she goes.  She thrives on the beauty of botanicals or the colorful stones that nature provides. we are thrilled she is now sharing her work at OVA ARTS.
