I was born in Ventura and have lived in the area all my life. Working as a nurse and raising a family of four left no time for formal art study, so I am self-taught. The three things I try to achieve in my paintings are to show the beauty of the area, the beauty of the people who live here, and the magic of the light that surrounds us.
